Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information City Doctors collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. City Doctors (the website at citydoctors.co.in and the City Doctors, DocDesk and related mobile apps) is operated by DIEKA AUTOMATION, 1, 6A Street 24 Sector, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh 490001, India ("we", "us").

We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.

1. Information we collect

Patients / users

• Account details: name, mobile number, email address, city and login credentials.
• Booking details: the doctor, lab or diagnostic centre you choose, date and time, consultation type, the tests or scans you select, and — only for home sample collection — your address.
• Optional details: age, gender and any notes you add.
• Health-related information: the type of consultation, tests or scans you book, and any prescription or document you choose to upload. We collect only what is needed to make the booking.

Doctors, labs and diagnostic centres (partners)

• Name, contact person, WhatsApp number, email, city, clinic / centre address and map link, timings, leave days, fees, services, test lists and prices.
• Professional and regulatory details such as speciality, NABL, PCPNDT or other registration numbers, used to verify the listing.

Technical information: basic logs (such as date and time of a request) needed to run the service securely. We do not use advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

• To create and manage your account and bookings.
• To share your booking with the doctor, lab or centre you chose so they can serve you.
• To send booking confirmations, one-time passwords (OTP) and service messages on WhatsApp.
• To verify partners before their listing goes live, and to keep the platform safe from misuse.
• To answer your questions and complaints, and to meet legal requirements.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• The doctor, lab or diagnostic centre you book — they receive your name, mobile number and booking details (and your address for home collection).
• Service providers who help us run City Doctors, such as our hosting and database providers and Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform for messages. They may process data only on our instructions.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above. Booking records may be kept for a longer period where the law requires it. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to our database is restricted, and one-time passwords expire after a few minutes. No system is completely secure, so please keep your login details private and tell us immediately if you suspect misuse.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete your account and data — see Delete account;
• withdraw consent (this may stop us from providing the service);
• handle a complaint (grievance).

Write to support@diekaautomation.in from your registered email, or include your registered mobile number. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

City Doctors is meant for users aged 18 and above. A parent or guardian should make bookings for children.

8. Medical disclaimer

City Doctors is a booking platform. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Pre-natal sex determination is prohibited by law (PCPNDT Act) and is never offered through City Doctors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes we will also inform you in the app.
